Awards night!

Last week we were thrilled to accept the award for “designer of the year - Couture” at the Sunshine Coast fashion awards. This win was very unexpected! It was the first time Ivie White had been nominated for an award and as you can imagine the thought of actually attending the night meant leaving either as a winner or not (which was fine by me) but also as the person who’s family insisted on attending with you just in case… I should add no other nominee brought their family. As a winner it was lovely to have family there to share in the experience.

I’m not a great believer in the awards concept but it is nice to recognised and applauded by peers of the fashion industry.

We are so in love with the stores we stock too and couldn't be more grateful to the amazing teams that run them. We only hoped to imagine that we would have our gowns hanging in stores around Australia but to have them around the world is just unbelievable. Soho our first official stockist in Newtown Victoria in our home country, followed by Ban Bridal in Limerick Ireland, The Ivory Club in Belgium and The Bridal Company Northern Ireland have now joined the gang.

A Darling Affair Fair

We had an incredible time at this years A Darling Affair. Held at the quaint Woombye Chapel on a beautifully warm Spring Saturday. The fair was  compiled with all of the  talented Sunshine Coast - Gold Coast vendors showcasing their flair.

Ivie White gowns stole the show in the Fashion Parade. Brides were able to see the gowns on real models. The girls did an amazing job showcasing the gowns and each and every one of them looking incredible.

Campaign Shoot for A Darling Affair

A very darling shoot for the A Darling Affair bridal fair coming up in October. This shoot saw the collaborative efforts of very talented local vendors such as Daisy Chain Weddings for capturing these shots, The Beauty Case for hair and makeup, Heavenly Blooms for the florals and many many more. 

This quaint little fair always boasts a relaxing picnic vibe. With lots of fresh and creative vendors, yummy food and drinks, fashion parades and live music.

Salty Hair and Sandy Toes

A wind swept shoot at Cotton Tree beach on an April afternoon with the stunningly beautiful Cassie Hargreaves (model). The wind was not on our side during this shoot. It was insanely blowing this way and that, which lead to a lot of crazy hair to deal with. Lucky we were going for a beach hair look. 

Thank you to Jen and Brooke who persisted the hurdles and created these stunning images. 

Cassie showcases the Celeste gown, the Sephora+Reine set and the Vienne+Noella set and doesn't she just look stunning!

The Loft Trunk Show

In this super stylish loft space in Maroochydore was the location for the next Trunk Show. This show was held over 1 week which gave brides the extra time needed to come back to try on their favourite gowns 2 even 3 more times. I just loved the vibe of this room, so relaxed and chill.

So very lucky to now be apart of The Lane's handpicked brands they love! If you haven't been over to The Lane yet to get some on and ahead of the trend wedding style inspiration you must do this now. Well after you have had a good look around here first.

Our first exclusive Trunk Show experience!

The first ever Ivie White Trunk Show happened the next day after the launch of the first collection. After the pack down of the Launch Night we cleaned up and re set the room for real brides to come and try on the gowns for the first time. This was so exciting but very nerve racking at the same time. What was the response going to be?

Lucky enough the girls loved the gowns! It is amazing to see how different peoples choices are on what is their favourite. The first sale of the weekend was the Vienne+Noella set. This bride looked incredible in this set!

The Official Launch of Ivie White

Ivie White officially launched under the lights of Simply Style Co headquarters on the 29th Janurary . What an amazing night it was! Filled with family, friends and local industry supporters we all gathered together in celebration of this big feat. 

Thank you to all who came to the event! Your love, support and encouragement means everything and is exactly what is needed when starting something as big as this.

Welcome to Ivie White

New Website and new look for Ivie White!

Thank you for visit us here at Ivie White! We are so excited to share with you our new bridal gown label. Although Ivie White has been around for a while, we are feeling fresh with our new collection of stylish wedding gowns and bless with the opportunities that have come from this experience. The support from friends, family and our local and online community has been incredible in the lead up. So thank you once again!

The creation process of this new chapter was long in theory but quick in execution pulling the whole thing together with in 4 months. Very long hours, designing, sewing, planning, sourcing, planning photoshoots, editing, creating this website masterpiece and planning events. Stressful you say! Well yes, but it has all been worth it.

We wanted to design bridal gowns that could describe a simple stylish brides who wants something different from the run of the mill wedding gowns we've all seen. We wanted allow our brides to wear simplistic designs with effortless flow. The fabrics used are lush soft silk crepe, wait until you feel them on your skin. The mix and match pieces we have created cover the sleek and sophisticated bride through to the daring fun and flirty bride who wants a little luster. 

We are beyond proud of this collection and really hope you love our pieces as much as we have enjoyed designing and creating them.
